Mindful Writing

Since 2016 I have been running workshop in mindful writing, which combines creative writing with mindfuness.

During the workshops, we use a range of writing exercises designed to encourage a playful approach to creativity, where the process is as important as the end result. We take inspiration from nature, the senses, colour, texture and smell and the works of ‘mindful’ authors.

There are fun, collaborative exercises as well as opportunities to be more reflective individually. Participants are free to create poetry, prose or whatever comes out. Sharing of work is encouraged but voluntary and there is no marking of work.
